Will Willimon preached powerfully on sin one day in April, 1995, saying again and again that the human problem is human sin, our sin, my sin. He concluded like this: “So G. K. Chesterton, when asked to write a magazine article on ‘What’s Wrong with the Universe’ responded to the editor’s request, ‘What’s Wrong with the Universe’ with one sentence, ‘I am.’”
